Western Spectacular

A celebration of rural and regional life will take centre stage in Dubbo in May when public school students perform in the Western Spectacular - the distant beat

More than 1200 talented students from the western region will sing, dance and perform for up to 2000 people for two shows each day in the McInnes Pavilion at Dubbo Showground on May 5 and 6.

Audiences will enjoy the artistic excellence of students from communities as diverse as the region itself including the major centres of Dubbo, Orange, Mudgee, Bathurst and Broken Hill plus some of the country’s most remote towns and small schools.

Excitement is mounting, rehearsals are continuing and the pre-performance nerves are starting to build!

We invite you to join us when the curtain goes up on what will be one of the region's biggest events this year.
